Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) wins gold at invention show in Geneva, Switzerland

An Interactive Animated Epilepsy Education Programme (IAEEP) for children and i-warner, a flood detection product using smartphones were the products that earned two gold medals for Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA).

It is the first time for UniSZA to win at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, Switzerland.

All five products that the university took to Geneva won medals. Aside from bagging 2 gold medals, UniSZA got two silver medals and one bronze medal.

Products that took silver medals were the Virtual Umrah software and Zuhause, a flexible seat, while the ExGenoba system, a product designed to make examination questions automatically won the bronze medal.

Prior to this contest, the Virtual Umrah won the Masjidil Haram special award from Saudi Arabia while the Exgenoba System won a special award from the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA).
