Tun Azmi urges two public universities to be upgraded to Global Status

The Malaysian Public Universities’ Board of Directors Conference initiated the need for public universities (UA) to be upgraded to global status.

Chairman of the Board of Directors (Public Universities) Tun Zaki Tun Azmi mentioned that the government needs to appoint the best candidates as Vice-Chancellors to manage the administration of the universities.

The candidates for the Vice-Chancellor position can be either local or foreign individuals.

In his speech, Tun Azmi stressed that all UAs in Malaysia must give their full support to the chosen universities and disregard any feelings of distrust.
