Tunku Abdul Rahman University College intends to achieve full university status by 2018, with plans to develop a piece of land to accommodate more students and facilities also in the works.
TAR-UC, which has a total of 6 campuses throughout Malaysia, including Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Perak, Johor, Pahang and Sabah, focuses mostly on vocational studies and a holistic education experience, and is known for producing academically excellent and enterprising graduates but also with a sense of good ethics and integrity.
Having already produced around 180,000 graduates since it’s opening, TAR UC continues to play an important role in the influence of the MCA, especially in the federal territories. The party’s president, Datuk Seri Liow, mentioned how MCA plan to build more student quarters, vocational training centres, and activity centres in a vacant piece of land near the school.
