Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan St John has revealed plans to establish its own university college focusing on vocational education during the announcement of its 110th anniversary next year. This project is in line with the school's vision to help students with options for continuous education.
Said Megat Mizan Nicholas Denney, the school's board of governors chairman, they understand that not all students excel in their studies academically but given hands-on education such as vocational training, students will have a fair shot in having a future and not give up on education completely.
"At St John, we might not get all straight A's students but all of our students are groomed to be gentlemen," he added.
