SPM students can only use forecast results as early as January

Students can use their forecast Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia results to enrol in private institutions as early as January however they will only be formally registered once their actual SPM results are out in March.

In the release, it also stated that "from the point of registration, students must fulfil the academic calendar requirement and all other MOE requirements. This ensures full compliance with the existing standard and regulations, as provided for in the Malaysian Qualifications Framework but most importantly will allow students and parents to meet the educational and social objectives intended.

Furthermore, the Ministry has agreed to release the 2014 SPM results earlier, this 3 March 2015.
