SPM, STPM 2015 to go on despite haze

Haze to become worst end of this year.

Despite the ominous prediction that the haze will continue to worsen come November, MoE has announced that there will be no postponement.

Education Minister, Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said that this was because the examination involves intensive labor and has been carefully planned for so long.

Hence, he said, the suspension will only complicate the situation and disrupt students' preparations for their examinations.

"The internal examination at the school level may be postponed at the discretion of their schools but the main examination such as SPM and STPM, can not be postponed."
