SPM 2016 updates and postponements

Implementation of the English language subject as a compulsory requirement to pass SPM and Practical Examination for Science subjects will be postponed.

The Malaysian Ministry of Education had initially planned to make English a must pass and science subjects to be tested in labs for SPM 2016.

The plans were originally aimed at being a blueprint of the vision and aspirations of the educational system to meet the needs of students in the future.

The postponements are to allow for space and opportunity for teachers, students, school administrations and related parties to make more thorough preparations.
