The Malaysian Ministry of Education invites qualified SPM school leavers who are interested to take up Bachelors of Education or Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perguruan (PISMP). Closing date is 8 March 2015.
Programme description:
- Applicants will be studying at the Teachers Education Institute and will be trained in various fields of specialisation for primary school
- Applicants are required to take up the Preparatory Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Perguruan (PPISMP) for 12 months
- Applicants who pass will be awarded the PPISMP Certificate of Completion and will continue to study PISMP for 4 years (8 semesters) at Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) set by the Ministry of Education
- The programmes are full time.

Requirements
- Malaysian citizen
- Age not exceeding 20 years on June 30, 2015 and born on or after June 30, 1995
- Healthy
- Active in extra-curricular activities
- SPM results must have grade A-, A and A= in any five (5) subjects.
- Obtain minimum grade credits in the following subjects: BM, English and History
How to apply
- Apply online beginning 17 February 2015. The applicant is allowed to submit one (1) application and can update at any time.
- Successful applications submitted will receive a reference number for verification. Incorrect or incomplete application may result in the application being rejected.
- Applicants will be screened based on eligibility requirements and criteria established by MOE. Selected applicants must sit and pass Prospective Teachers Eligibility Test (UKCG) before being called for an interview
