Manipal Int'l University appointed as ICOE Biotech Partner

Manipal International University (MIU) is now a partner of the Industry Centre Excellence (ICOE) Biotechnology. Appointed by the Ministry of Higher Education, MIU will help ensure fast and sustainable growth for the biotechnology sector.

ICOE Biotechnology is a collaboration between institutes of higher learning (Universiti Malaysia Pahang) and industry (Biocon Ltd, CJ Bio Malaysia and Malaysian Bio-XCell) combining industrial best practices with academic pedagogy to produce quality graduates for specific industries.

MIU has recently teamed up with Biocon to develop human capital for the country's biotechnology sector. Biocon is a large biopharmaceutical company with 6,000 employees, partners, and customers in more than 75 countries.
