Malaysian Universities ranking

7 public universities and 11 private universities have attained "excellent" rating in the Rating System for Institutions of Higher Learning (Setara) 2009 conducted by Ministry of Higher Education. 11 public universities and 14 private universities and university colleges attained "very good" rating.
