Malaysian universities on the rise while UK elite universities fall on world ranking

Malaysian universities going up the ranks.

Two Malaysian universities have made it in the top 150 universities on the global ranks, Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, in the categories of universities under 50 years old according to Times Higher Education.

Meanwhile, the top 100 universities world wide has less UK universities this year compared to previous years. The number of UK universities fell from 12 to 10 universities in the top 100. On the other hand, there are 18 Asian universities taking the lead in the same list.

Earlier in May 2016, Malaysian Higher Education took the lead as the top performer in international education and is on par with Germany.
