Malaysian and Australian universities forging closer links through new memorandum of understanding

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Australian Tertiary Education Minister Chris Evans at Curtin University in Perth two days ago. The MoU reflects the joint commitment in increasing collaboration and policy dialogue on higher education issues between the two countries.

According to Senator Evans, the agreement will support Australia’s efforts in ensuring young Australians placed in Asia to take advantage of deepening the engagement with Asia. This means encouraging more Australian students taking up education at Asian universities.
