Latest QS World University Rankings Shows Improvement in Malaysia

Malaysian universities continue to excel on the world stage, as evident in their improvement in the world rankings based on subjects, the share of places going up from 2.17% to 1.51%.

In fact, THREE Malaysian University Programmes ranked inside the top 30:

1. Electrical Engineering (University of Malaya) – 23rd

2. Development Studies (University of Malaya) – 26th

3. Hospitality & Leisure Management (Taylor’s University) – 29th

Moving further down the order, there were 11 programmes in the top 50, compared to just three a year prior. University of Malaysia having two more programmes in the top 50, while University Sains Malaysia had four subjects in total within the top 50.

In total, 19 Malaysian Universities were included at least once in the QS World University Rankings by Subject, which is something we should all be proud of! Did your university make it?
