NUS maintains high standards by creating a highly competitive environment among it’s students . While that may seem like a deterrent to some, it does promote healthy competition and gets the very best out of the students who are admitted.

NUS also has relatively affordable tuition in comparisons with top ranked Western universities, yet has managed to secure plenty of foreign universities as partners for various programmes (summer school, exchange programmes, seminars) so students can experience the upside of a foreign education without the downside of exorbitant costs.

Besides their prestigious ranking, NUS also boasts a tonne of resources available for students, and plenty of other amenities such as a gym, restaurants and food options. The students tend to be more diverse and dynamic, giving one the opportunity to interact with different cultures, an invaluable experience.

Students presenting the Foundation, Matriculation or Twinning qualifications with appropriate university exam results may also apply and compete for admission to NUS. Applications must be completed by March 31 2017, while documents has to be submitted by April 3, 2017 (for STPM students), while those with A-Levels qualifications, applications close today (28 February 2017), so do hurry up and get those applications filled in.
