If you’re thinking of continuing your studies overseas, you’ll be glad to know that University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS) now runs the Transfer Degree Programme with five universities, namely Murdoch University in Australia, University of Canterbury in New Zealand, and University of Essex, University of Birmingham and University of Portsmouth in the UK. Upon completing half the programme at UCTS, students may finish their remaining years at one of the partner universities.
The Transfer Degree Programme is an inter-university collaboration whereby two or more universities agree to recognise part of the course. The students can then get their credits recognised and transfer to universities abroad, and complete their study with a foreign degree.
