INSTEDT eyes university college status in 2014

  • Institute of Science and Technology Darul Takzim is working on its way to becoming a university college by 2014. Since its establishment in 1997, the college has developed into one of  the largest private higher education group in Johor.

To date, its latest course offerings include diploma in legal secretarial, diploma in Islamic studies, diploma in digital media graphics and diploma in Islamic banking. With the new courses, they expect to receive about 800 students this coming April.

According to Executive Chairman Datuk Mohd Sharul Azila Salleh, INSTEDT is now preparing documentation to be sent to the Ministry of Education. In the meantime, INSTEDT is looking forward to collaborate with international universities in South Korea in terms of curriculum development and student exchange.

Presently, INSTEDT collaborates with Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in a few courses which include diploma in office management & technology and diploma in sports studies.
