Financial help for SPM graduates automatic

Education Ministry to cover course fees, subsistence and accommodation allowances for excellent performers in SPM 2014 before they begin degree programme locally or overseas.

The statement released mentioned that the bursary is given to students who scored 9A+ and above regardless of their race or family background.

The bursary will be automatically offered for them to take up a preparatory or pre-university course in the country.

The preparatory studies sponsored under the bursary programme are the Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM), matriculation, foundation, A-level and international baccalaureate.

Students can check the offer through the online bursary application system on the ministry’s website at www.moe.gov.my from now until June 30.

Those offered the bursary need to read and understand the set guidelines and conditions for sponsorship, and to update their personal information through the online bursary application system.
