Form 6 education or Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan (STPM) will be undergoing a revamp soon. This project aims to make this pre-university course more appealing to students.
In this project, some selected schools have been chosen to participate. Moreover, the Education Ministry will be conducting numerous programmes to help students make the right choice for their future.
The revamp would include removing Form 6 students from existing secondary schools and having different teachers.
This year 109,000 applications were received for 28,000 matriculation places offered. The Ministry hopes that students who did not get a place in matriculation will choose form 6 as a good pre-university choice.
