"Certain measures have been put in place to ensure that the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah leakage will not occur," said Second Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh. He said that preparations for SPM had been smooth.

He said one of the measures was the deployment of additional police escort to accompany vehicles transporting papers to all examination centres. "Another measure is to ensure that the key holders (to the examination paper vaults) do not have the lock number combination," he added.

Currently, police is still investigating on the leaked UPSR papers which forced 473,175 students to resit four papers.
