Studying overseas can be exciting and fun, but what do Malaysian students studying abroad have to say about it?
To some, they believe that studying locally would allow universities to franchise their degree programmes to local private institutions.
Due to the fact that there are still courses that is not available in local universities, students opt for overseas to continue their tertiary education.
Other Malaysian students abroad would prefer their comfort zone and stick with what they're familiar with. To some, this limits the experience of learning abroad, for there is more to explore and learn when you're abroad.
There are those who believe that the new scholarship regulation in sending students abroad would increase the appreciation of overseas scholarship.
In most non-English speaking countries, Malaysian students find that their circle of friends consists of not only Malaysians but people of other nationalities as well.
Scholarships abroad still ramains exclusive and it is a lifetime opportunity for some. There are Malaysians who felt that the opportunity should not end, but more towards choosing the proper institutions for students to study abroad.
