The Crimea State Medical University (CSMU) in Ukraine will comply two issues brought by the Health Ministry to regain recognition for its medical courses. Last March, CSMU's medical courses were de-recognised due to several weakness found.

Among the areas of concerns is the low qualification standard of its medical students.

According to CSMU chancellor AA Babanin, the university would rectify the weaknesses identified by the MMC.  Presently, CSMU's lecturer-to-student ratio is 1:8  for basic science years while 1:6 for clinical years.  This ratio meets MMC's criteria.
