Application for Admission to First Degree Studies Program at University of Malaya Session 2015/2016

As most of you are aware, UM is one of the three public universities in Malaysia with autonomy over their enrollment process.

Since the 1996/1997 academic session, the University of Malaya (UM) has adopted a Semester System. In this system, each academic session is divided into two academic semesters, which consist of 14 teaching weeks in each semester. From the start of the 2000/2001 session, the Semester System was divided into the Three Year Study System (Sistem Pengajian Tiga Tahun) and the Four Year Study System (Sistem Pengajian Empat Tahun).

Application for a First Degree in UM is now open to all Malaysian students STPM/matriculation/equivalent. Both science and art streams are available.

Online applications for bachelor's degree will be open from 19 January 2015 at 12 noon through their portal: myum-id.um.edu.my
