Nine private colleges received a six star rating for category-based college through Quality Assessment System for Private Colleges Malaysia (MyQUEST) 2014/2015.
MyQUEST is a rating system that rates the quality of public and private higher education institutions
MyQUEST which is held biennially since 2011, is an assessment and rating system for measuring the quality of institutions, programmes and practices in private higher education institutions with college status. During the MyQUEST 2014/2015 evaluation, a total of 238 of the 406 colleges were registered with the Department of Higher Education to join the rating. Of these, a total of 199 private colleges were rated out of 235 colleges that merited an audit. The following is a list of colleges that receive the MyQUEST recognition.
KDU University College is one of the first private higher learning institutions that have been established locally which is in 1983.
The research centre in SEGi College is highly recognised where it focuses on healthcare, engineering and humanities.
Sunway College is managed by the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation
Taylor’s College is known for its Canadian Pre-University Programme, South Australian Matriculation Programme and Cambridge A-levels.
Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College offers courses in health sciences programmes
Students from Taylor’s College have been known to be accepted into the world’s top 200 universities
Graduates from the GCE ‘A’ Level Programme and University Foundation Programme (UFP) were able to further their studies in the United Kingdom
APIIT’s main campus is in Bukit Jalil but it managed to extend its operations to countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India and Australia
This college was established in 1950 to provide proper education for those who missed out during the war
