425 AUCMS students to continue their studies in 6 private universities

Four hundred twenty-five students from Allianze University College of Medical Sciences (AUCMS) will  continue their education in six different private institutions.

The six selected institutions are:

  • Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences - 86 students
  • AIMST University - 81 students
  • UniKL Royal College of Medicine Perak  - 66 students
  • Melaka Manipal Medical College - 99 students
  • MAHSA University - 79 students
  • SEGi University - 14 students

Health Ministry Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham was quoted by The Star, saying that the decision was concluded between him and the Education Ministry, after considering the necessary procedures that needed to be complied with at these colleges.

"The teacher and student ratio should be 1:8. Some of the procedures they have to follow are number of trainers they have, ability of the institutions concerned to provided learning facilities and other facilities required in accordance with applicable accreditation standards."
