4 more universities for Pagoh

The development of four university campuses in Hab Pendidikan Tinggi Pagoh (HPTP) recorded a progress of 94.25 percent.

Chairman of the Committee on Education , Information, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Md. Jais Sarday stated the construction of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) branch campus has progressed 97.28 percent, while Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) recorded a 94.69 percent progress .

"Meanwhile , the construction of the Polytechnic and shared facilities has progressed 95.95 percent. In terms of providing dormitories , residential houses and shop lots, Sime Darby is implementing the construction of the student dormitory , which is expected to be completed in May 2017.

"Sime Darby Property will launch the first residential project in May and the construction is estimated to take about 18 to 24 months to complete," said Md. Jais Sarday.
