UTM to conduct study on lack of interest in engineering

- An article in The Star states that UTM is setting out to investigate the lack of interest among students to study engineering.
- Deputy VC for academic and international studies Prof Dr Rose Alinda Alias thinks that we should get rid of the misconception that engineering is all about maths and science.
- She also thinks that the school curriculum should incorporate real-world engineering.
- UTM is the only uni in Malaysia among the five global unis to offer doctorates in engineering.
