Degree in Environmental Health

Matriculation / A-Levels / any other equivalent pre-university qualification :

Pass Matriculation / A-Levels / any other equivalent pre-university programme with at least CGPA 2.50 in Biology / Physics and Chemistry

Matriculation / A-Levels / any other equivalent pre-university qualification :

Obtain credit in at least five subjects in SPM or equivalent where three subjects must be either in Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or English.

Diploma :

Obtain a Diploma in the relevant field with at least a CGPA of 2.75

Diploma :

Obtain a Diploma in a relevant field with a CGPA of less than 2.75 but above 2.00 with at least three years (36 months) working experience in the related field

Master in Environmental Health

Degree :

 CGPA of at least 2.75/4.00

Degree :

CGPA of 2.50 - 2.74/4.00 with

  • Research experience – 1 year OR
  • Professional experience in related field- 1 year OR
  • One academic publication (journals, not proceeding(s) in related field OR
  • Grade B for major/ elective courses OR
  •  Grade B+ for final year project

Degree :

CGPA of 2.00 - 2.49/4.00 with

  • Research experience - 5 years OR
  • Professional experience in related field - 5 years, AND
  • One academic publication (journal, not proceeding(s) in related field OR
  • Grade B for major/elective courses; OR
  • Grade B+ for final year project

PhD in Environmental Health

Master's :

CGPA of at least 3.00 / 4.00

Master's :

CGPA of 2.50 - 2.99 with

  • Research experience – 2 years OR
  • Professional experience in related field – 2 years OR
  • Two (2) academic publications (journals, not proceedings) in the field applied; OR,
  • Grade B+ for major/elective courses OR
  • Grade B+ for Coursework Mode or P for Mixed Mode dissertation/project

Degree :

Bachelor degree (First class honours) or CGPA of at least 3.67/4.00

Important Note: Diploma is not offered for this course. Students can enrol for a pre-university programme in science stream before applying for a degree in Environmental Health.
