Diploma in Nautical Studies (DNS) aims to provide you the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to serve on merchant navy vessel of more than 500 gross tonnages. This programme also helps to develop students to be a certified watchkeeping officer on unlimited voyage. &nbsp;The course will take a total of 3 years, spread over 3 phases. Students who enrol will need to complete all the mandatory phases required by the Director of Marine, under the Malaysian Marine Department. &nbsp;Year 1: Academic and Professional Studies in the Academy &nbsp;Year 2: Shipboard Training &nbsp;Year 3: Professional Studies in the Academy &nbsp;Upon successful completion of the training and passing all the qualifying prerequisites, you will be awarded with a Diploma in Nautical Studies and a Certificate of Competency as Officer in Charge of Navigational Watch.

Specially designed to provide you with the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to serve onboard a merchant navy vessel of more than 750kW, you will graduate as a certified watchkeeping engineering officer. &nbsp;This course will take a total of 3 years, spread over 3 phases.
