The Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) recently held its first APU Mega Career Fair at its new campus located at Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil. The career fair saw participation from more than 80 companies, including Microsoft Malaysia, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Astro, Genting Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Maybank, myStarjob.com, Star Media Group and more.

The six-hour expo was inclusive of career talks and on-the-spot interview sessions, in which students from multiple disciplines such as business, IT, engineering, media and design were able to gain new insights on the opportunities available for them in the job market. Apart from full-time employment opportunities, students who were still in their first year or second year of their studies also participated, to look out for internship and industrial training opportunities. Over 2,500 students attended the APU Mega Career Fair, in which a handful of them secured a job during the on-the-spot interview sessions and the networking lunch sessions.
