Get the IPTA you want with NST Career Talks

  • New Straits Times in collaboration with Afterschool will launch a series of career talks to help educate students and parents on careers in demand as well higher education options.

This 23 February, the Director of Unit Pengambilan Universiti (UPU) will share how they handle IPTA applications. UPU is the government body that handles IPTA applications under the Ministry of Higher Education.

Participants will know how public university selections are done and how students’ application can get them the university they want. Besides UPU, representatives from Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN), Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and Malaysian Association of Private Universities and Colleges (MAPCU) will be there at the event to answer questions on PTPTN loan applications, MQA-accredited courses and how to choose the right IPTS.

The career talk will start from 9.00 am to 12 noon at the Women’s Institute of Management, 7 Jalan Haji Openg, Taman Tun Dr Ismail 60000 Kuala Lumpur.
