Ian Khoo, Subeditor and a Mass Communications graduate from UOW Malaysia, traces his writing roots back to the days of learning English from his grandmother. It was her shared love for reading that sparked his interest in fiction, eventually leading him to trade his storybooks for a career in communications. While he spends his days helping students navigate the education world, his true heart belongs to the stars—if he could write about anything for the rest of his life, it would be sprawling sci-fi epics. When he isn’t shaping stories for Afterschool, Ian is likely deep in a video game or indulging in some hard-earned quiet time, proving that even the most dedicated content creators need a "recharge" button.
