Write Anyeonghaseyo in Jawi caligraphy

Now you have the chance to learn writing Anyeonghaseyo using Jawi caligraphy!

Daegu University of Foreign Studies (DUFS) in Daegu, South Korea recently started Malay Cultural Studies, especially Jawi caligraphy.

Dean of the East Asia Faculty DUFS Prof Dr Kang Kyoung Seok who is also an expert in Jawi caligraphy stated that, other than learning, the university will also conduct researches related to the knowledge of Jawi or Jawiology through the university's International Jawiology Center.

Other than Jawi caligraphy, DUFS will also focus on language studies for Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia.

Kang mentioned that DUFS will make an effort to invite experts in Jawi caligraphy to teach and guide students and graduates of Jawiology studies.

"I hope Malaysian universitieswill agree to cooperate with DUFS in exporting Malay language studies to DUFS so that Koreans get the opportunity to learn the beauty of Malay language as well as Jawi caligraphy," said Prof Kang.
