Will Your UPU Application Still be Processed if You Apply for USM?

Recently, a worried student posted a question on our FB page, asking if her UPU application will be ignored/cancelled if she applies for USM (If you recall, USM has a separate application). We made a few calls and this is what we found out:

You can stop worrying because your UPU application will still be processed if you apply for USM.

However, there are some important things you really need to know:

• The results of the USM application will be announced 2-3 weeks earlier than the UPU results.
• If you are successful and are offered a course in USM, you MUST confirm your acceptance/rejection within 5 days from the date of the announcement.
• If you accept USM's offer, your name will be sent to UPU, and your UPU application will not be processed, so think very carefully about what you really want to do.
• If you do not accept within 5 days, USM will assume that you have rejected their offer, and your UPU application will still be processed.
