Teach For Malaysia, an independent, not-for-profit organisation, is accepting applicants to their final intake to the Teach For Malaysia Fellowship Programme for this year. The aim of the programme is to work towards a Malaysia where all children are empowered to be leaders of their own learning, their future and the future of our nation. Join the Teach For Malaysia Fellowship; a full-time, fully-paid two-year commitment. To be eligible to apply, applicants must have the following basic requirements:
Our Pre-service Programme (PSP) is two months of intensive residential training that prepares you to be a leader in the classroom. Upon completion, you will be placed in a school where you will be a full-time teacher for two years, while working towards obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) that will allow you to pursue a teaching career beyond the Fellowship.
Throughout the two years, you will receive support in various forms to facilitate your growth as a leader and teacher. You will also get the opportunity to connect and work with public and private sector leaders, to find innovative and lasting solutions to the challenges faced by your students and their community, through your second-year initiative.
Each person’s leadership journey is unique and self-directed. After the two years, some continue to teach, while others transition into policy-making, social enterprise, the corporate sector and so forth. Our alumni remain lifelong advocates for education and expanding opportunities for students, as a growing network of passionate, like-minded people working towards a common vision.
