USM ties up with Maldives Education Ministry in ICT expertise

• Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) has tied up with the Education Ministry of Maldives to bolster research in the field Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

This joint venture aims to find the best learning method for students who are currently focused on the ICT gateway, said USM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Omar Osman.

Furthermore, both parties will conduct short term courses on professional development for teachers and students as well as build teaching partnership in software learning and teaching resource development.
