UKM not in this year's Times Higher Education 100 Under 50 List

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) is no longer in this year's Times Higher Education 100 Under 50 List, an annual global ranking between the British magazine and research-metrics company Thomson Reuters.

Last year, UKM ranked 98th and was the only institute of higher education that made it in the list.

This is not a sign of UKM's worsening performance. According to Phil Baty, rankings editor, the decline is just a few notches low and is because competition has intensified this year.
