Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the government will recognise more degrees from India, focusing on Information Technology (IT) and engineering.<a href="https://img.afterschool.my/storage/uploads/images/getadvice/43079/598bef67934ff.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-43081 aligncenter fr-fic fr-dii" src="https://img.afterschool.my/storage/uploads/images/getadvice/43079/598bef67934ff.jpg" alt="Najib PM India 1" width="600" height="400"></a><div class="NewsText">Earlier today at a bilateral meeting press conference, Najib responded to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi&#39;s urge for Malaysia to recognise more Indian degrees.</div>The Malaysian Prime Minister announced that further discussions may follow between the Malaysian Higher Education Minister, Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and authorities in India on the recognition of degrees from Indian that will be made available in Malaysia.This will include degree programmes from polytechnics and technical colleges.The meeting today follows Modi&#39;s first official visit to Malaysia for the 27th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Kuala Lumpur.
