Teachers will be free from their administrative duties; Admin assistants to take over

Published by Afterschool.my on Sep 05, 2013, 05:23 pm

To help make teaching an attractive career, teachers will soon be free from their administrative duties in schools. These duties will be given to administrative assistants.

To be done in stages, the plan involves appointing an administrative assistant to each school and take over the administrative duties being carried out by teachers. This will affect 10,000 schools in the country.

This plan was suggested by stake holders, including students and will hopefully encourage more teachers to become more committed to making improvements about their core business (teaching) and preparing students to face future challenges.
