Taylor’s College has recently reached a significant milestone, achieving the prestigious ACCA Platinum Approved Learning Partner status — the highest recognition by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Global. This achievement not only demonstrates the institution's excellence in providing world-class ACCA education but also its commitment to developing future leaders in the field.

With the Platinum status, Taylor’s students gain exclusive access to ACCA’s professional development resources and global networks, helping them boost career growth and equip them with critical industry skills and insights.

The status also reflects the college’s commitment in aligning its programmes with industry standards and the evolving demands of the profession, supported by expert insights from its Industry Advisory Panel.

To celebrate this success, Taylor’s College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ACCA, introducing a dual-award pathway for Diploma in Business students and new initiatives such as the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) to enhance graduate employability.

In addition, Taylor’s College boasts a strong track record of student success in ACCA exams, with numerous top national and global rankings. In 2020, a student won first place in Foundations in Audit, achieving the highest score in Malaysia and third worldwide. In 2021, success was repeated with the highest score in both Malaysia and the world for the same subject. In 2022, Taylor’s students achieved top scores in Malaysia for Audit and Assurance and Maintaining Financial Records, with global rankings of fifth and second, respectively. In 2023, Taylor’s College saw the highest score in Malaysia and second worldwide in Recording Financial Transactions. This year, the institution continued the tradition of excellence with the highest score in Malaysia and second worldwide in Management Information.

Taylor’s students also excel in regional competitions. In 2022, they won the ASEAN Accounting Competency Challenge and placed third in the 2024 Institute of Management Accountants AsiaPac Student Case Competition.

This recognition further positions Taylor’s College as a top choice for accounting education in Malaysia and a key player in the nation’s ambition to cultivate 60,000 certified accountants by 2030.
