TARCian Strikes Top Worldwide for ACCA Paper

Selena’s achievement is inked in the official certificate by ACCA.

In 2023, she shared her plan of completing all papers for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification by 2024. Looking at her recent achievement of scoring the highest mark worldwide for the ACCA’s Strategic Business Reporting (SBR) paper in the March 2024 examination, Selena Lee Si Yun is well on her way to achieving her plan on a high note. 

I graduated from TAR UMT with a Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Accounting and Finance. The high achiever made headlines last year for coming in first in Malaysia for the Advanced Taxation (ATX) paper in the ACCA September 2023 examination.

“I am so happy with my achievement, more so because of my deep interest and my aim to qualify for ACCA. I owe it to TAR UMT, especially my lecturers, for helping me find and build my interest in getting an ACCA qualification," she said.

Selena added, "Their constant emphasis on practical learning and real-world applications of accounting concepts sparked my curiosity and motivated me to pursue ACCA as a pathway to a successful career in accounting."
