Study in US becomes more expensive

Paul Fain for Inside Higher Ed reported that the overall college affordability has worsened in 45 US states since 2008.

This in turn creates a significant financial burden for students of modest economic means.

Educational expenses include tuition and costs of living, minus all grant-based financial aid from federal and state governments and institutions.
