Titled the "Thaandava Medai", Taylor's College Subang Jaya will be having an inter-varsity dance competition this month to allow students the opportunity to exhibit their skills and talent in dancing and teamwork.
The following are details of the event:
The event is organised by the Indian Cultural Society of Taylor's College. Auditions have been ongoing, leading to the finale at the end of September. It aims to expose and increase the college student population's awareness of the various Indian cultural dances.
Targeting to foster better relationships between colleges and universities in Malaysia, the society has also invited students from various Institutions of Higher Learning in Malaysia to participate in the event, making this one of the largest events organised by the club. Participants include students from colleges such as Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College, known as the RSD Dancers, to the Malahari Dancers from Nilai College.
They have also designed their official Thaandava Medai '15 T-shirt and are selling them based on pre-orders.
