People of all walks of life spent their Sunday by walking in the heat to raise funds and awareness for people with disabilities.

Organised by The Spastic Children Association of Selangor and Federal Territory, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, and Federal Territory Amateur Athletic Association and Welfare-based NGOs, the 23rd Annual Charity Run took place at Padang Merbok.

The event was also an attempt to create a new entry in the Malaysia Book of Records for 'The Longest Year Charity Run' where 3,000 people were required to participate jointly with 500 disabled people.

All registered participants were provided with food vouchers, medals and certificates as a reminder of the good they had done on the day.

The students of Erican College greatly enjoyed contributing to their community and eagerly look forward to future chances to do the same.
