Standard 4 students to prioritise history subject

• History subject made compulsory for Standard 4 students

Starting next year, history will be made a compulsory subject for Standard 4 students with an emphasis on the socio-cultural aspects of the nation's history. This change is in response with the concern over pupil's poor knowledge and apathy on the nation's hisotry, with them focusing instead on merely attaining good grades in examinations.
