A total of 401,105 candidates sat for the SPM 2020 examination which was held from February 22 to March 25. The examination was postponed twice and now candidates fear that the results will not be announced in the near future.

If you are one of the candidates, you might feel like you have been left in the dark with not much news regarding SPM results and the wait is endless, but do not worry, we have some great news for you! According to our forecast, SPM 2020 results will be announced between early June to mid June. Here we are also sharing the date of the SPM results announced based on 5 years ago.
The forecast for SPM 2020 results is based on the SPM Repeat registration date. The official date for SPM Repeat 2021 registration is on 17 May to 18 June 2021, hence SPM results will usually be released few days before to give students time to register. Likewise, this forecast is also based on UPU application calendar which informs the date of the announcement of UPU results for SPM graduates. The UPU results have been said to be released in July. This means that June will be the last month for interview sessions to be held for UPU programmes. The UPU requires SPM results to check and verify applicant’s eligibility before they are called to attend the interview.
