Published by Afterschool.my on Jan 27, 2016, 01:44 pm

Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail and Tan Sri Dato' Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali are among the role models for law practitioners in Malaysia as they have served the nation as attorney-generals.

Attorney-general refers to the person who is qualified to be a judge of the Federal Court. It is the duty of the Attorney General to advise His Majesty The Yang di- Pertuan Agong or the Cabinet or any Minister upon such legal matters.

The attorney-general is required to perform such other duties of a legal character, as may from time to time be referred or assigned to him by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong or the Cabinet, and to discharge the functions conferred on him by or under this Constitution or any other written law.
