Private institutions that offer biomedical science courses in Malaysia

In Malaysia, there is a growing demand for graduates in the biomedical sciences within the health services and industry. Students who are keen to working as part of research & development teams can find employment in these industries - pharmaceuticals, chemical, cosmetics & toiletries, biotechnology, and food & beverage.  Meanwhile, students who plan to further their degree (either by taking master's or PhD) after finishing their bachelor's, can expect a more senior role when they start to embark on permanent employment.

Here's a quick overview of private universities that are offering degree programmes in biomedical science:

Asia Metropolitan University (AMU) was previously known as Masterskill University College of Health Sciences (MUCH). Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) is a private university. It has three campuses in the Klang Valley and one in Kampar, Perak. All its campuses have wireless access to the Internet, high-end laboratory equipment for teaching and research; and computer labs.
