PPBU Tier 1 Opens Today!

April 2nd brings you great news - April Fool’s aside, the Pinjaman Pendidikan Boleh Ubah (PPBU) Tier 1 opens today! For those who are unfamiliar with PPBU, this is a convertible student loan. This means that once you’ve taken this loan and obtained at least CGPA 3.75, your loan will be converted into a full scholarship. Even obtaining CGPA of 2.50 will get you a 50% discount!

A gentle reminder to all those who intend to apply for this loan:

1. Tier 1 is offered for certificate, vocational/skills diploma and skills certificate ONLY
2. Valid only for Malaysians
3. All applications must be made online at their official portal
4. Students must have already obtained a place at an institution BEFORE applying
5. Opens from April 2 till June 29, 2018
