Polytechnic offers three new degree programmes this September

Polytechnic Malaysia will introduce three new degree courses this year. Two of its programmes will be fully conducted by two of its premier polytechnics in September session this year while the third is conducted jointly with Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).

The degree programmes provide more focus on industrial training to give students greater exposure.

Polytechnic Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah in Selangor

• Bachelor of engineering technology medical engineering (hons)

Polytechnic Ungku Omar, Perak

• Bachelor of marine technology (hons)

Polytechnic Ungku Omar, Perak with Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM)

• Bachelor of business management (marketing) (hons)

Polytechnic is planning to convert nine advanced diploma programmes in stages until 2015. With this move, students will no longer need to take advanced iploma course but could go straight into degree programmes.
