Polytechnic in Dungun signs agreement with 10 government and industry agencies

Within four months, there have been 69 percent of graduates completing their vocational studies and were immediately employed.

Politeknik Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin (PSMZA) is expanding its industrial network by signing a Note of Understanding (NOU) with 10 government agencies and industry on Monday.

Its director, Mohd Pauzi Ibrahim said the NoU was signed as an attempt to increase the employability of graduates and to improve the academic quality of the students from the polytechnic.

Among the government agencies and industries which signed the NoU were Industri Latihan Islam Malaysia (ILIM) Wilayah Timur; Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia Wilayah Terengganu Selatan; Jabatan Belia dan Sukan Negeri Terengganu; Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Terengganu.

Mohd Pauzi said with the signing of the NOU he is confident the polytechnic graduates will not only be the industry darlings, but graduates they produce will also more than meet the requirements of the industry.
